She was dreaming that she was a Nazi, or more specifically, that she was a ficus owned by Joseph Goebbels. There she was, swaying to the tune of Das Deutschlandlied when she suffered an aneurysm. She was 68.
I like to think that somewhere up there in heaven, there’s a great big ficus with a swastika armband wrapped around its trunk. And that ficus’s name is Rattlesnake Suzanne.
